How to Read This Document #

This is one combined Privacy Policy and Terms of Use covering two related sites: gabrielreynoso.com, Gabriel Reynoso's personal identity and portfolio site, and hire.gabrielreynoso.com, a hub that routes prospective clients to Gabriel's profiles on Upwork, Toptal, and Gumroad.

It is written for a sophisticated professional visitor, not as a wall of consumer boilerplate. Legal weight is stated plainly where it exists.

1Scope #

1.1 Covered by this document #

• Both domains: gabrielreynoso.com and hire.gabrielreynoso.com, and every page on them.
• The cookies, analytics, and session-recording tools running on those pages.
• The downloadable files (bio, CV, one-pager PDFs) hosted on the sites.
• The outbound "Request an AI Summary" footer links to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini.
• The hire hub's outbound links to Upwork, Toptal, and Gumroad.

1.2 Not covered by this document #

Browsing the site, downloading a bio or CV, or booking an intro call through Cal.com does not create a contract, a retainer, or a client relationship of any kind. If Gabriel (personally, or through Crown Digital Consulting Corp, Opportuna Digital, LLC, or any other Reynoso-affiliated entity) is engaged for consulting, fractional-executive, architecture, or advisory work, that relationship is governed entirely by a separately negotiated and signed Master Service Agreement (MSA), Statement of Work, or engagement letter. This document never amends or substitutes for that agreement. See Section 5 for how that separation works in the Terms of Use.

This document also does not cover Upwork, Toptal, or Gumroad themselves. If you engage Gabriel through one of those platforms, or purchase something on Gumroad, that transaction is governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policy, not by this one.

2Privacy Policy #

2.1 The Short Version #

Before the detail, here is the commitment this policy is built around:

• We never sell your information.
• We never share it with anyone except the specific processors needed to run the site or to deliver something you asked for: for example, handing your name and email to Cal.com because you booked a call.
• We do not build a marketing list from a contact or booking submission unless you explicitly opt in.
• No advertising or retargeting pixels run on either domain: no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tag, no LinkedIn Insight Tag.
• No cross-site tracking cookies.
• We minimize what is collected: personal information lives only where it is operationally required, analytics tools are configured to mask input fields and mask or anonymize IP addresses wherever the tool supports it, and our self-hosted backend infrastructure never receives visitor data from the public website at all.

2.2 Cookie Notice and analytics consent #

These sites use a small amount of first-party storage to remember your preferences and, if you choose, to enable privacy-respecting analytics. By default, no analytics script is loaded, no analytics cookie is set, and no data is sent to our analytics provider.

When you first visit, you will see a cookie banner that offers you a clear choice between "Accept" and "Decline" analytics cookies. If you click Accept, we will load PostHog (our analytics provider) and set a first-party identifier so we can understand how the sites are used in aggregate and improve them over time. If you click Decline, or dismiss the banner via the "Decline" option, we will not load analytics and no analytics identifier will be set.

Your choice is stored in a strictly necessary, first-party setting so we can honor it on future visits. You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or on this page.

We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) signals automatically. If your browser sends either signal, we treat that as a decline: you will not see a banner, analytics will not load, and no analytics identifier will be set.

We do not use any third-party consent-management service. The consent gate is implemented entirely as a first-party mechanism on these sites.

2.3 What We Collect, Tool by Tool #

We do not set any third-party cookies, and we do not use advertising cookies. All storage described above is first-party and is only used for the purposes listed.

2.5 Who Else Sees This Data #

Sanity, PostHog, Cal.com, Gabriel's connected calendar provider, and Hostinger each act strictly as a data processor for the purpose described above: nothing more. Upwork, Toptal, and Gumroad are not sent any data by this site; you interact with each of them directly and separately, only after you choose to click through.

2.6 International transfers #

These sites are operated by a US-based controller and hosted on infrastructure located in the United States. Content is generated at build time on our own systems in the US and deployed as static files to our US-hosted web server.

For some processors, we deliberately choose EU or EU-equivalent regions so that certain categories of data are stored in the EU rather than the US. Our analytics provider, PostHog, is configured to use their EU Cloud: analytics requests are sent only to EU endpoints, and we have disabled session replay, heatmaps, and web-vitals autocapture. Our content management system, Sanity, stores datasets in an EU region (Belgium), but visitors' browsers never contact Sanity directly; content is fetched at build time only, and no visitor data is sent to Sanity.

We also use Cal.com to handle call bookings. Cal.com's free tier processes booking data (such as your name, email address, company, and agenda note) in the United States. We have signed Cal.com's Data Processing Agreement, and they act as a data processor on our behalf for this purpose.

Where a processor involves cross-border transfers of personal data, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. As our hosting provider and other processors confirm their specific transfer mechanisms (for example, EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework participation or standard contractual clauses), we will update this section to name those mechanisms explicitly.

2.7 How Long We Keep Things #

• Cal.com booking details (name, email, company, agenda): 24 months from the date of booking, then deleted, unless there is an active or ongoing engagement.
• PostHog analytics events: 24 months.
• Hosting and CDN request logs: within the provider's standard retention window, outside our direct control.

2.8 Your Rights #

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or the Florida Digital Bill of Rights / Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA): including the right to know what is held about you, to access or correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to certain processing.

Because we do not sell data and do not share it for cross-context advertising, several CCPA-specific opt-out mechanisms (such as a "Do Not Sell or Share My Info" link) do not currently apply. You can still ask, at any time, using the contact method in Section 2.9.

2.9 How to Reach Us About Your Data #

Email gr@gabrielreynoso.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or to ask a question about how it is used. We will respond within 30 days of receipt. Where applicable law permits, that period may be extended by an additional 30 days with notice, or as otherwise specified by law (CCPA allows 45 days, extendable to 90).

2.10 Children's Privacy #

Neither site is directed at children under 13, and there is no mechanism on either site for a minor to knowingly submit personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at gr@gabrielreynoso.com and it will be deleted promptly.

2.11 Changes to This Policy #

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the "effective date" at the top will update and, for material changes, that change will be made reasonably obvious on the site rather than quietly edited into the page.

3Terms of Use #

3.1 Acceptance #

By using either site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, the straightforward answer is: do not use the site.

3.2 What This Site Is: and Is Not #

gabrielreynoso.com is a personal identity and portfolio site: story, work history, current focus, investor information, and contact. hire.gabrielreynoso.com is a directory of links to where you can actually engage Gabriel (Upwork, Toptal) or buy a digital product on Gumroad. Neither site is itself a marketplace, a contract, or an offer capable of acceptance. Booking an intro call is scheduling a conversation, nothing more.

3.3 Ownership: and What You May Not Do With This Content #

Everything on these sites (the writing, the frameworks, the case studies, the site design, the underlying code, and the specific way ideas are structured and presented) is Gabriel Reynoso's original work (or work licensed to him), protected by copyright and other applicable law, including U.S. federal copyright. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and reference it with attribution.

Without Gabriel's prior written permission, you may not:

• copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, or create a derivative work from site content;
• use site content to train, fine-tune, or prompt an AI or machine-learning model; or
• adopt, present, or deliver Gabriel's frameworks, methodologies, or work product as your own, or use them on a client or business engagement, without his direct involvement, supervision, or a signed agreement covering that work.

That last point is deliberate: these materials describe how Gabriel works, and the value in them comes from his direct execution and judgment. Reproducing the approach without him is not a substitute for hiring him, and is not licensed by simply visiting this site.

One narrow, intentional exception: The llms.txt files published at each domain give AI assistants accurate, author-approved context so they can describe Gabriel correctly when someone asks. That is a limited license for summarization only: it is not a license to scrape, reproduce, or train on the rest of either site.

3.4 Third-Party Links #

Upwork, Toptal, Gumroad, and the four "Request an AI Summary" buttons (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) all lead off-site. The moment you click through, that platform's own terms and privacy policy govern. Gabriel does not control, and is not responsible for, what happens on someone else's platform.

There is currently no referral, affiliate, or revenue-sharing arrangement between Gabriel and Upwork, Toptal, or Gumroad tied to the links on this site. If that ever changes, this section will be updated to reflect it.

3.5 Actual Engagements Are a Separate Contract #

If you engage Gabriel (directly, through Upwork or Toptal, or as a fractional executive, architecture advisor, or consultant) that relationship is governed exclusively by the Master Service Agreement, Statement of Work, or platform contract signed for that specific engagement, executed through the applicable contracting entity (Crown Digital Consulting Corp or Opportuna Digital, LLC, depending on the engagement). Nothing on gabrielreynoso.com or hire.gabrielreynoso.com creates, amends, supersedes, or substitutes for that signed agreement. If the two ever conflict, the signed engagement agreement controls.

3.6 Downloadable Files #

The bio, CV, and one-pager PDFs are provided for your personal use in evaluating Gabriel for a potential engagement: not for redistribution, republication, or inclusion in someone else's marketing materials.

3.7 No Professional Advice #

Content on the site (including the Now, Story, and Invest pages) is informational and reflects Gabriel's own perspective. It is not financial, investment, legal, or other professional advice, and reading it does not create an advisory relationship of any kind.

3.8 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability #

The site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gabriel Reynoso and any Reynoso-affiliated entity disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of either site.

3.9 Governing Law and Venue #

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of either site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts serving Seminole County, Florida.

3.10 Changes to These Terms #

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use either site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
